SUMMER BREAK

Thank you to Lolo, Sam, Claire, and Rene for making the Spring semester a big success, and thank you to everyone who attended. Also, a big thank you to our hosts Brikolodge and Dacra Development.

Even though the University of Wynwood is officially on summer break until the fall, we have several projects in the works that might come to some sort of fruition during the sweltering months, so become our friend on Facebook (Search: “The University of Wynwood”) in order to get notices about upcoming events.

COURSE DESCRIPTION: This lecture series explores the idea of Progress in Miami by examining several ambitious cultural projects undertaken within the last five years. Our approach will be non-comparative and mostly ineffectual. A quiz precedes every lecture, which is further preceded, and punctuated throughout by, the drinking of free bad wine. Grades are based on top-secret Scientological principles and in no way reflect performance or attendance. Rony Seikaly has preemptively been given a D minus.
